Devil’s Lake rests in the heart of Lincoln City and at the center of activities such as kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Legend has it that this shallow volcanic lake’s name describes a large creature rarely seen below the blue-green waters.
Its easy access and fishable shoreline make it popular for anglers of all ages, but particularly children as it’s stocked with rainbow trout that put on a show as you reel them in. The lake also has Coho salmon, grass carp and other varieties of protected fish. You might spot a bald eagle, cormorant, or loon and elk are sometimes seen onshore.
