Devil’s Lake State Park offers camping, picnicking, hiking, boating and fishing. Birds in the area include bald eagles, grebes, loons, ducks, and cormorants. There’s a fishing dock and boat launch too.

This campground is in Lincoln City, so something’s always going on. In the heat of summer, water skiers and swimmers abound. This shallow lake’s stocked with rainbow trout and native brook trout are also making a comeback. You can fish from the shore, if you wish.

If you prefer quiet, you can hike to the wetland boardwalk and loop around Devil’s Lake to see its natural beauty. You can also access the Three Sister’s Wilderness area via the Devil’s Lake Trailhead on the south shore. Here you’ll pass through old growth mountain hemlock forest and then connect to more hiking, backpacking, horse riding and other activities.
