"Our stay was spectacular from the moment we entered the condo! First, the 180+ deg view is staggering. The rental is sparkling clean and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots & utensils. Everything is nice quality, not mismatched or second hand. The condo is beautifully decorated, and appears to be recently painted and carpeted. The heating system is in the floor, so it’s silent and comfortable day & night. The property itself is quiet and well maintained and the location near town is excellent. I hesitate to say too many good things in the fear that it’ll be booked up. Can’t wait to return!"

"After missing two years due to covid, we returned to Whaler's Suite this past week. It was even better than previous stays. The condo was lovely-spotless-as always but even prettier with many new sea-theme decorations. Well-organized and comfortable. The increased kelp beds offshore have evidently encouraged the whale population to feed even closer than in years past. We were-as always-delighted to see their spouts in the distance nearly every time we went outside on the balcony, but this time, they came right beside the rocks below so close their blows were a loud "swoosh." One fellow put on an amazing show for us, rolling up and down, bringing his tail out of the water every time he dove. How thrilling! Thanks for a very enjoyable week!"

The location is ideal for watching the waves crash just feet away into the rocky shoreline - especially in the off season's stormy weather. Depoe Bay is situated between Lincoln City and Newport which gives you the choice of easily visiting either town each day or just exploring the quaint little town itself. "Superb location with stunning view 2nd floor view of the crashing waves on the rocky shore. The condo was excellent in every way. Spacious, clean, well stocked and located in a perfect spot for day trips up and down the coast. Balcony situated so that it felt very private watching the ocean magic. Although no whales spotted at this time of year it would be an excellent view when they are present since you are literally right on the shore. The pool facility was wonderful and enjoyed by my granddaughter. Check in and out was easy. Such a lovely 3 nights stay! I hope to be back!"

"Our amazing stay was like sailing on the seas without leaving the dock! This beautiful 2nd floor condo was situated in such a way as the views made you feel like you were actually on the high seas. The turbulent looking seas and crashing waves not only mesmerized us, it would lull us into a sound and sleeping slumber! "We weren't in Whale watching season, but the fabulous breakers were mesmerizing . Great views from the Deck, Master bedroom and Livingroom. "My sister and I had a delightful stay at The Whaler's Suite. The condo was spotless with a well-equipped kitchen. The view from the condo was stunning and we enjoyed listening to the waves crashing on the cliffs below the unit. Check in was easy and we appreciated the elevator and luggage cart for getting our luggage to the unit. Centrally located on the coast this condo is perfect for day trips. We checked out the Devil's Churn, Boiler Bay, Haystack Rock, the tide pools at Yaquina Head Lighthouse and went inland to Alsea Falls. Besides Gracie's Sea Hag in Depoe we would recommend Clearwater Restaurant in Newport for delicious food."

"Beautiful property in a great location (close to Lincoln City and Newport) and near the heart of Depoe Bay. We spent hours just watching the waves and even spotted a few whales from the unit. We were unable to use the pool and workout room due to reservations being required two days in advance on out two night stay which was a bit disappointing (Covid restrictions) but the property manager was hopeful that this would be lifted by the end of the month."

"The view is amazing with the ocean so close that while eating lunch we heard a captain of a boat call "There she blows!" and caught sight of the whale ourselves! The property is just as it shows in the pictures, but even cleaner. I felt comfortable sitting on the floor to do yoga and stretching, as well as soaking in the tub. The kitchen setup is well stocked and positioned nicely as to keep an eye on the waves. We found the area to be central to enjoying many day trips, up and down the coast as well as inland to view waterfalls, forests, and covered bridges, all while maintaining a home base. In planning another return trip in the future, both my sister and I would return to this exact unit. It was that perfect!"

"Wow! I had the best view on the coast! Love the sounds. Very clean condo. Master bed was so heavenly I tried to see what brand it was. Kids said other bed was great too. Wish they would ha e listed items in condo so I didn’t come so prepared. Crock pot, cookie sheets, salad spinner. Everything I wanted. For covid precautions I Liked that we had to reserve pool times because we had it all to ourselves and never crossed paths with other people. The radiant heat was a special surprise that was lovely. Even had a hose so we could spray off the windows after a big storm that was so fun to watch."

"We really enjoyed our time at this vacation rental. This was our first trip to Oregon so we spent a few days in the City, the Coast, then a Cabin in the Mountains. By far this was our best stay. The home was very clean and the views were amazing! Especially from the bedroom. The best sleep I’ve had in a long time and waking up to the Beautiful Ocean waves crashing outside just topped everything off. The fireplace was great too. We visited Thor’s Well and the Sea Caves. There apparently was an issue with the Microwave from the previous tenant and the Management company left a VM explaining before we even arrived. Great Communication. Would definitely stay here again."

"If you're looking for a place to decompress and relax, this is it! We spent MANY hours just watching the surf crash on the cliffs just outside. Master bedroom has full length glass windows to watch the surf. 'Will warn that on the 1st night you probably won't get a lot of sleep with the surf just outside, but we loved it! Condo was well appointed and very clean and well maintained. One can either walk a bit or take a short drive into Depoe Bay. With COVID, recommend making reservations for popular restaurants (ie: Tidal Raves, Local Ocean). Enjoyed Nana's Irish Pub (Newport) and Pier 101 (Lincoln City). Need reservations to use the clubhouse with COVID - being cautionary didn't use it. Already referred friends - We will be back!! :)"

"The property was very clean and well-maintained. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone who wants to unwind, have spectacular views and lots of fresh air. The moment we opened the door, we could feel our stress level subside. The condo is beautiful and was well stocked in the kitchen and bath. My only reason for possibly not renting out this unit in the future is that we would have enjoyed a bed in the master that was firmer, but that might just be our personal preference. Everything else was absolutely perfect!"

"My husband and I stayed in this condo for our fifteenth wedding anniversary trip. This unit was absolutely perfect. It was spotlessly clean and well furnished to provide the perfect amount of comfort. It is spacious and warm. However none of that really matters because the view is so breath-taking. I chose this unit specifically so I could lay in bed in the morning and watch the waves. I loved waking in the middle of the night to see the fog rolling in. It could not have been a more perfect stay. Depoe Bay is a charming little town and the entire Oregon Coast is beautiful. We will definitely be back."

Better Than The Best

"We walked into this beautiful condo and didn't want to leave! The ocean is just feet away. The sound of it against the rocky point below is mesmerizing. You can sit in the living room and look out, or you can sit on the balcony and have the ocean at your feet. We saw many whales during our stay, and were probably closer than the whale boat tours! We knew when they were near because we could HEAR them. The condo has everything you could ever want -- space, a fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, big bathrooms and is comfortably decorated. The master, which faces the ocean is pretty much indescribable with its views and sounds of the ocean. I don't have one negative. Everything was perfect. We are planning our next stay!"

"We enjoyed the home very much. There were two couples in our group and we cooked our Thanksgiving meal there. The condo was a good size for our size group. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything we needed, except we could have used more dinner-size plates. We had them all dirty before the dishwasher was full. But the condo is beautiful, with a gorgeous, large, convenient kitchen that let 3 of us work side-by-side to prepare our meal. The master bedroom is beautiful and truly a "suite," and the 2nd bedroom/bathroom is nice too. The place had a GORGEOUS view of the ocean waves crashing on the rocks. Couldn't ask for more there. The place was clean and even better than the pictures."

"We have been visiting the Oregon coast for over 30 years and this was one of the most pleasant places we've stayed. The floor to ceiling views out the living room and front bedroom windows are simply wonderful. Our needs have changed over the years, and we don't require direct access to a beach area any more, so the ocean waves on the rocks below were perfect. The whale viewing could not have been better. They were everywhere we looked! We watched them spouting from the LR sofa and the bedroom, and rolling and fluking while feeding in the water very close to shore. It was great fun. The condo was spotless, well stocked and comfortable. The fireplace in the cool evenings was cozy and we will certainly return."

"We were welcomed by no less than three whales feeding in the surf off our balcony! This lovely condo is perfect as it is a stone's throw from all of the wonderful Oregon Coast activities, but feels quiet and secluded. We used Keystone to arrange a multiple family trip to the Oregon Coast. We had no idea how spacious and beautiful these accommodations would be! The Whaler's Suite has large rooms, extremely comfortable beds and a well-appointed kitchen. Each family was able to easily host a meal, game night, movie night for the rest of our group (13 people). I needed to shift our dates just a few weeks before arriving, but the staff were prompt and welcoming and were able to make our stay just we wanted! We will definitely be back! Thanks!"

"Stayed in the Whalers Suite 3 nights and absolutely fell in love. This was our 1st experience renting a condo and I will say it was the best decision we made. Easy check in and out, had everything we could possibly need. The condo was beautiful and exceeded our expectations on every level; it was clean, very comfortable and had amazing views!! We saw whales everyday! We loved the amenities, the large soaker tub, the double sided fireplace and the club house. The town of Depoe Bay had great shopping and sights, we esecially loved the food at The Horn Public House and Brewery. We even saw whales from the 2nd floor window while we ate. All in all, our stay here was the best part of our week long vacation on the coast. It was very hard to leave, I can only say...we will be back! Fantastic stay. Highly recommended!"

"This is by far THE BEST vacation rental and location my wife & I have ever stayed in...bar none! When someone mentioned visiting the west coast, especially Oregon with its rocky shoreline, I envisioned a place like this with the crashing waves, and was not disappointed. The master bedroom has its own built-in "sleep machine" at night. The view out the windows is truly awesome, and we saw whales outside of the unit every day not more than 50 yards away. Why spend money for whale watching tours when you have it right outside! The updated decor was well done, and the accommodations were very comfortable. "We stayed there for several nights around 4th of July weekend. The location of the condo is amazing and the view of the ocean was unforgettable - whether we are in master bedroom, living room or in the kitchen. My wife and I enjoyed our stay to the fullest extent. Almost everyday we could spot grey whales (fluke or water spout) standing in the balcony or in the living room. Watching sunset from balcony, master bedroom or living room was another of ours favorite activities. The condo is very nicely decorated. Every possible amenities are there - high speed internet, cable TV, pool towels, deck chairs....Our younger daughter who traveled with us enjoyed the second bedroom. That bedroom has two beds, attached bathroom and its own TV. We wanted to take our vacation leisurely - so didn't pack our schedule. Devil's punch bowl, several tide-pools, old historic lighthouse, Yaquin bridge are few attractions which are very close by. Tillamook Cheese factory is little more than an hour away from Depoe Bay but a trip there is well worth. We wish our vacation never ended!!"

"I hate to leave a review... Because.... We love this condo so much we would like it to be available all the time.... This is the best spot we have stayed at from LA to Washington. Our favorite was Carmel/ Monterey until we found Whaler's Suite in Oregon. This is by far the most awesome view, we seen whales every day, along with a lot of seals, otters & boats. My husband spent most his time on the balcony so he found the most whales but the Whale Watching boats would stop every day out the balcony & I found when I seen them I would go to the patio & every time I would see a whale or blow spout. We even seen a family of whales. The waves crashing up on the rocks right out side your windows are so beautiful, a few sprayed as high as the second floor.
We fell in love so much we looked into buying one of the condos we agreed that we could stay there at least 6 months a year only coming home to see the grandkids. LoL There is no way you could not LOVE the Whale's Suite."

"If you like to go to sleep listening to the surf crash on the rocks outside your window, this is
for you. There is no beach--just a spectacular location on the shore. Location is great--less than one mile to Depoe shops and restaurants (we recommend Tidal Raves for dinner) and Lincoln City is just five miles north. There is no road noise. We will stay here again."

"The condo was lovely and perfect for our family of four. We all loved being right on the water and seeing whales from our balcony was absolutely fabulous. The location was a very easy walk from town and the condo had everything one could need. We would have liked to have stayed longer. "Located within yards of a rocky ocean cliff, Grey Whales visited within 30 feet of the water edge almost daily. The property was very clean and comfortable. We cooked in most of our stay and found the local seafood markets a great source of protein. The kitchen was well equiped for our cooking needs. We enjoyed the sound of the ocean from our open bedroom windows. We definitely recommend this place to others seeking a quiet beautiful getaway."

"We stopped at Depo Bay half way thru our tour of the Western national Parks. It was a beautiful condo and very relaxing after our grueling trip. Very well maintained with everything needed.The ocean being so close was a wonderful way to fall asleep with the waves pounding on the shore. The only downside we never saw whales from our balcony only on a tour."

"Wonderful location, right on the oceans rocky shore. Did not see any whales but that's OK. Friday night we watched the Coast Guard do exercises with a helicopter and a boat right off shore. Pretty cool. Watching the ocean or sun set is an awesome way to enjoy those moments of reflection. This would be a perfect location for storm watching too. Property is small enough that it maintained a quiet and peaceful feel. We will return."

"The Whaler's Suite is a 5 Star condominium that must be seen to believe. The pictures do not do justice to the breathtaking views from the balcony & bedroom. The housekeeping is spotless - clean towels and sheets. The beds are comfortable and the bonus is that there are 3 beds in two bedrooms which allows everyone a little more sleeping space. The view and ocean sounds from the master suite are amazing. This is the perfect condo for a group of friends, couples or a small family. Would definitely return!"
